RANDOM CRAP PART
I guess this Random Crap Part is gonna be more of a lead-in-so-to-speak for the Recap. Wow...Recap, huh? Well, bear with me and get comfy....cuz in order to really get a good recap and do justice to the last couple of events that we have covered, or in all honesty, I guess the events that I personally attended, we will have to jump into our imaginary time machine and go back a couple of weeks to really tell ya what ya missed, or what ya may have attended, or what ya may have attended and just don't remember but woke up in the morning with a CatchDuhBuzz card in yer back pocket wondering how the hell it got there (don't lie...you know who you are) and checked out the site saying "wtf?!?!? I was where???" But, of course, in the same breath (the little I have left after the previous rant), not taking away from any and every event that we may not have been at, or that I was personally not at, cuz simply....I can't be everywhere at once. Again, not that any of the places I went to were any better than any others, but obviously, I can only write about what I have done, who I caught out, and the AWESOME time that I may have had. So apologizes to the great bands that we have missed (or for that matter did cover, and I am unfortunately unable to write about in this lil section cuz I did not), but you can always check em out in our Duh Pics section...soooooo, if you are still reading....RECAP!!!

RECAP-ISH!!
Join me in a journey way back in time....the date....June 20.....2008 (Wayne's World flashback music playing in the background). The place: Kelly's Logan House (I know I know...its corny...bear with me...) I had the distinct PLEASURE to catch 2 AMAZING bands!! First up was the duo of Jenny and Tyler WOW! Such a laid-back-clean-pure-acoustic sound that has been described as "Norah Jones Meets Jack Johnson" was sooooo effin sweet!!! What a great way to start off the night. And just when I thought it could not get any better....I had 3 Jager Bombs....just kidding (no really...I ain't drinkin no more). Actually, I finally got a chance to check out The Crash Motive. DAMN! What can I say about these guys except...WHY HAVE I MISSED OUT ON CATCHIN THESE GUYS BEFORE!! I mean, holy sh!t these guys are f*ckin AWESOME!! WHY-THE-HELL-AREN'T-THEY-ON ROTATION-ON-THE-FRIGGIN-RADIO KINDA GOOD...YA KNOW?!?! They got it all folks...the sound, the performance, the look, the energy...jeesh!! Long story longer...If you have not seen either of these incredible musicians I just mentioned....LOSER!!! YER MISSIN OUT!! And I am proud I can say that now since I have...so there.

(Wayne's World flashback music playing again in the background)...fast-forward backward (you know...since I am going in the future from the past to a past date). The date: June 22.....2008.....still. The place: Papa Ray's Sports Bar-B-Q for The First Annual CatchDuhBuzz Crab and Shrimp Boil!! And my friends...you gotta hand it to Shannon (co-founder of CatchDuhBuzz)..the man can put together a helluva party!! It was packed...and a BLAST!!! Man....there was awesome food everywhere!!! Door prizes...raffles...and amazing music!! Our great friend Jenni (from That's What She Said) and Geno (from The Diligents) had 3 INCREDIBLE acoustic sets goin on all day!! And if THAT wasn't enough, a few of the fellas from Josten Swingline stopped by and played a few songs of their own...HOW AWESOME WAS THAT!!! HOW MANY TIMES CAN I SAY THE WORD "AWESOME" AND THAT IT WAS AWESOME!! And just in case ya missed it, Josten Swingline were the winners of Musikarmageddon. Make sure to check these guys out as SOON as you can, and check out all of their websites for music, interviews, and other sweet sh!t!!
